The next morning, we got up and went downtown to where the Bow River Falls are located. From there we decided to do a good hike of about 8 miles. We started at the Bow River Falls and our first stop was at the Cave and Basin National Historic site. This was a spa but is now just a place to visit. It was similar to the Cenotes in Mexico.
After the Cave and Basin, we continued our hike, heading towards the Sundance Canyon. Lots of birds, horses and even a cowboy we passed.
One of the most fun things we did in the Banff area was White Water Rafting. It was the first time for both Kati and I, but after that we are planning to do alot more of it. It was really fun.
We spent another day in Banff, visiting locals places, shopping, eating, and hiking. We then got ready to head up the Icefields Parkway to Jasper and the next part of our journey.
